Prosoft, software application provider for accounting firms, hired Mondo Strategies, consulting firm specializing in integrated management and internationalization for software companies.
The medium-term project also encompasses some short-term actions, according to Prosoft’s CEO, Carlos Meni. The entire initiative will include product and service planning, production processes, field services, customer support, marketing and distribution.
“We realized we needed to orchestrate actions from several different operational areas to generate benefits not only for our products, but also for the entire chain of services and communication, adding new resources and generating significant savings to our end-users”, explain the executive.
With over ten thousand clientes and 50 distributors for its products and services, Prosoft hired Mondo Strategies to substitute its many independent, ad-hoc initiatives with an integrated, company-wide action plan, explains Valquiria Coelho, vice-president responsible for the new initiatives for knowledge management for Prosoft’s distributors and clients.
“We are reviewing processes from an integration perspective”, says the vice-president. “Our objective is not only keeping our current clients, but also reaching new ones, what should be a secondary but natural effect of refining our business processes”, adds.
